1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your login credentials secure, and to be responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

2. The marketplace

Qidient is an online marketplace that lets agents, landlords, buyers, and renters connect. Listings are created by third-party users, not by Qidient. We are not a party to, and are not responsible for, any agreement, viewing, payment, or transaction between users. We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, legality, or condition of any listing, and you should independently verify any property and counterparty before transacting.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• post false, misleading, fraudulent, or unlawful listings or content;
• impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation;
• scrape, harvest, or bulk-extract data, or interfere with the Service’s operation;
• upload malware or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system or account;
• use the Service to harass others or for any unlawful purpose.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the listings, photos, and other content you submit. You grant Qidient a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service. You are solely responsible for the content you publish and confirm you have the rights to share it.

5. Tools & estimates

Calculators, price estimates, and similar tools are provided for general guidance only, are indicative, and do not constitute financial, legal, tax, or valuation advice. Do not rely on them as the basis for any decision without independent professional advice.

6. Intellectual property

The Qidient name, logo, and the design and software of the Service are owned by Qidient and protected by law. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from the Service except as expressly permitted.

7. Disclaimers & liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qidient will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from dealings between users or reliance on any listing or tool.

8. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for any user who breaches these Terms or where necessary to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of its courts.
